StockCut works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server belonging to us. Your jobs — the stock lengths, the pieces, the labels you type — are stored on your phone and are never sent to us. One copy can leave your phone: Android's own backup, into your own Google Drive. That is described in full below.
We collect nothing from you — there is no form, no survey and no submission of any kind. Two third-party services used by the app do collect some data, and they are listed below.
We cannot see any of this and it is never uploaded to us. There is no account, no server of ours, and nothing to sign in to. It is held in the app's own private storage on your phone.
If Android's backup is switched on in your Google account settings — it is on by default for most phones — Android copies your saved jobs and settings into your own Google Drive backup, exactly as it does for other apps on your phone. This is why your jobs come back when you reinstall StockCut or move to a new phone.
That copy is yours, not ours. We cannot read it, list it, or recover it for you. It sits in your Google account, it does not count against your Drive storage, and on current Android versions it is encrypted with your device PIN or passcode.
You can switch it off at any time in Android's Settings → Google → Backup. If you do, your jobs live only on this phone — and losing or replacing the phone will lose them, because we have no copy to restore from.

StockCut has no feedback form and collects nothing you submit. There is no bug-report form, no suggestion box, and no in-app survey.
The only way to contact us is the "Email support" button, which opens your own mail app with an empty message. You write it, you can see and delete everything in it, and nothing reaches us unless you press send. That message is between you and us by ordinary email — we do not collect it through the app.
For convenience the app offers to add one line to that email:

It is shown on screen and you can delete it before sending. It contains the app version, your Android version, your device model, which measurement units you are using, and how many times you have used the optimizer. It never contains your advertising ID, any install identifier, your location, or anything from your saved jobs.
StockCut is a tool for tradespeople and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We hold no account, no profile and no copy of your work, so there is no personal record here for us to erase on request. Anything the app sends is described above and is held by Google, not by us.
If what the app collects ever changes, this page and the Play Store data safety declaration are updated together, before the change ships.
